Whales in Baja!

Baja Natural History Tour - March 4-13, 2008

$3495/pp

Not only is Baja a magnet for underwater photographers and videographers, but the mix of pinnipeds, sea birds, and whales (that's right, whales!), makes this a truly unique experience. Imagine spending two days in San Ignacio Lagoon with migrating California Grey Whales!! You can kayak around the islands and get to areas that are inaccessible by land. For those who are interested, hikes to tide pools, natural wonders and through the exotic vegetation on these volcanic islands all compliment the activities on this trip.

Because scuba diving while at the individual islands is also planned, there are activities of interest to everyone on this trip. And, as part of the Optiquatics workshop, full photo support - cameras, processing, and digital equipment - will be available for underwater and above water activities. The flora, fauna and natural wonders form an irresistible invitation for photographers of any interest or specialty.
